Rachel was so right!! Thanks for sharing this Aleyna. The circle of women that we keep around us is so important. We may have the same friends through the years, but we are all moving through different seasons and friendships may naturally change. But ultimately you still know who the people are that you want to call when you are excited for something, or when the hard times hit (and everything in between!). I am so glad to hear your tribe rallied around you and lifted you up. What a blessing it is to have these wonderful ladies in our lives 💛

Over the last year, I have paid a lot more attention to which friendships actually nourish me and which ones leave me depleted. The right people really do become part of the safety net that helps us get through life.

Exactly, the right people really are such an important part of that safety net.

Me too Julie - and thank you to Aleyna for starting this conversation! I similarly try to pay more attention with all connections in my life, and how I feel when I leave each one. I fill my cup up more with the ones who lift me up and try to limit the ones that drain me.

Taking time to choose good friends and maintaining the friendship takes time and effort. And you know you’re with the right ones when the effort comes naturally.
